How do I join CAPEA?
Click the Join button above, select your preferred plan (1 year or 2 years), complete your personal details, and make a secure payment via PayPal or credit card. Your membership is activated immediately and you can log in to the members area straight away.
How long does membership last?
A 1‑year membership is valid for 12 months from your join date. A 2‑year membership is valid for 24 months. You can renew at any time — even before your current membership expires.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept payment via PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account — you can pay with any major credit or debit card as a guest through PayPal’s secure checkout.
When do my member discounts take effect?
Member discounts are applied automatically at checkout for CAPEA training and events as soon as your membership is active. If you’re using a discount code, it will be provided in your welcome email.
Can I renew before my membership expires?
Yes! You can log in to your account and purchase a new membership plan at any time without waiting for your current one to expire. Your new membership period will begin from your current expiry date.
What are my responsibilities as a member?
CAPEA members are expected to uphold the professional standards and values of the organisation, participate in the community where possible, and ensure their contact details remain up to date in their member profile.
What is the difference between Individual and Organisational membership?
Individual membership is for a single person and includes all benefits, full voting rights, and eligibility to hold committee positions. Organisational membership covers one representative who receives a discount code and journal access, but cannot hold committee positions. Organisations receive one hard copy of IJBPE.
