Ternity Group National Conference 2022 in Partnership with Xplor Education

Ternity is the group behind Nourish Baby, Safe Sleep Space and Sleep Smart and in partnership with Xplor Education are holding a National 2022 Conference, bringing you an amazing line up of credible and well-respected speakers.

2022 Group Skills Facilitation Training for Antenatal & Early Parenting Facilitators
- When: Thursday June 16 & 23, 8.30am to 4.30pm
- Where: The Albion Centre – Education and Training, Training Room, 349 Crown St (Cnr Crown & Albion St), SURRY HILLS, NSW 2010
The two day Group Skills Facilitation Training is an interactive workshop which provides baseline training for Midwives, Child and Family Health Nurses, Aboriginal Health Workers, Physiotherapists and Independent Childbirth Facilitators who are providing antenatal and early parenting education to women, partners and families.

2022 Advanced Group Skills Facilitation Training for Antenatal & Early Parenting Facilitators
- When: Friday July 29, 8.30am to 4.30pm
- Where: The Albion Centre – Education and Training, Training Room, 349 Crown St (Cnr Crown & Albion St), SURRY HILLS, NSW 2010
This training is designed for Midwives, Child and Family Health Nurses, Aboriginal Health Workers, Physiotherapists and Independent Childbirth Educators who are currently facilitating groups, and who have completed a Baseline Group Skills Facilitator training and have a minimum of 30 hours facilitation experience.
This interactive one day workshop has been developed to consolidate the facilitation skills essential to meet the Childbirth and Early Parenting Educators of Australia (CAPEA) competency standards and completes the 20 hours of education that is required to nominate for CAPEA certified educator recognition. This training also forms one of the criteria for the SESLHD antenatal and early parenting educators accreditation pathway.
This workshop will utilise the expertise of participants to further develop skills in research, technology, activities and resources for your facilitation toolkit.

Effective Facilitation Workshop 2022 is a two-day program designed to make pregnancy programs exciting, fun and dynamic, not just for the parents, but for the educator as well. Engaging, interactive programs leave participants well-informed, feeling positive about birth, emotionally supported and personally satisfied with their learning.
