'CAPEA QLD Symposium on Birth and Parenting education'

The “CAPEA QLD Symposium on Birth and Parenting Education” is a one-day event for midwives and other health professionals involved in educating women and their families. 2024 Group Skills Facilitation Training for Antenatal & Early Parenting Facilitators

The two-day Group Skills Facilitation Training is an interactive workshop which provides baseline training for Midwives, Child and Family Health Nurses, Aboriginal Health Workers, Physiotherapists and Independent Childbirth Facilitators who are providing antenatal and early parenting education to
women, partners and families.

Dr Rachael Beswick will be presenting: Reforming the First 2000 Days in Queensland at the CAPEA QLD Symposium.

Dr Rachael Beswick PhD MBA is a Director within the Queensland Health Reform team and the First 2000 Days Program lead and Co-Chair of the Qld Child and Youth Clinical Network. With more than 10-years in program and system level leadership roles, Dr Beswick has delivered several large-scale population-based research programs receiving $1.6 million in research funding to date and has more than 30 publications.
